Okoume is an African hardwood from Gabon. This hardwood ranges from pale pink to light brown and does not tend to split, meaning it has good stability. Okoume is used for interior applications, specifically for window and door frames [cheaper alternative to meranti for doors and windows]. You can use the timber for interior cladding, veneer for plywood, furniture, moulding and panelling.
