Shutterply is manufactured from thin layers of pine timber which are glued together in a press with an exterior grade PF (Phenolic formaldehyde). The primary use is for the construction industry for concrete shuttering (which is boxing in of wet concrete until sets), building furniture and packaging (such as; crates).
When using Shutterply for concrete setting you can add resin film on both sides which leaves a smoother finish on the concrete after it sets and increases the lifespan of the product. This product is not intended for decorative applications as it has a CC grade pine veneer face
